I'm Tracy,The person taking your picture, probably saying “ope”!

A Brief Introduction

I started like many photographers—a hobbyist, photographing friends and family. Fun fact: my second paid gig was a wedding.

That experience taught me a lot, including the kind of work I love most. Today, I focus on portraits. The experience is more personal and the work feels more aligned. I don’t photograph weddings anymore and I’m very okay with that. I like my weekends.

Photography is an extension of my full-time work as an Art Director in Milwaukee. With a background in design, every session is approached with an eye for color, composition, and light, paired with an ability to read the room and adapt in real time (especially with kiddos). The result is work that feels natural and true to the people I photograph.

Another fun fact: Hungry Heart Photography is named after a favorite '80s song lyric and the belief that everyone carries a hunger for what they love. For me, that hunger shows up in creating photographs people truly connect with.

Working Together

From the moment you reach out, you’ll be guided through a process that’s thoughtful, and easy. Communication matters to me. I help with location selection, outfit guidance, and a simple prep guide so you feel ready and excited for your session.

I move with kids’ energy, help seniors feel confident, and as a mother myself, I capture maternity and newborn moments with care and patience. Every session is about creating portraits you'll enjoy revisiting now, and years from now.
